Rise Up & Dance!
Intensive Cultural Residency (ICR) Project
Winter 2011
This 10-week project paired internationally-renowned artists with local artists and community-based organizations. Together they worked with at-risk youth and community members of all ages and skill levels in underserved Dayton neighborhoods to create a spirited and moving performance told through music, dance and poetry from the Islands of Haiti to the urban communities of Los Angeles, CA. |
