E.A.T. Food for Life

Kremer family
E.A.T. Food for Life Farm is a 140-acre certified organic farm located near Yorkshire in northern Darke County, some 60 miles northwest of Dayton. Operated by Dan and Nancy Kremer and their four children, the farm was worked by Dan’s father and grandfather before him and includes an 1868 brick farmhouse, pastures, woods and a pond. The philosophy guiding this family enterprise is based on “helping people discover and experience the connection between quality of food and quality of life.”

Farming since 1998, the Kremers raise organic and grass-fed beef, poultry, lamb, pork and buffalo as well as corn, soybeans and various grains and vegetables on their farm—and promote local, organic, chemical-free and grass-fed meat, dairy, bread and eggs. This family of committed organic farmers sells their products at the National City Second Street Public Market in Dayton and four days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday) at their farm.
