The pride of the House of God Church in Perrine, Florida, the Lee Boys are one of the fastest-rising new bands in the “sacred steel” style of praise music that exploded onto the secular music world in the 1990s. Led by the pedal steel guitar of Roosevelt Collier, the Lee Boys is a joyous, bluesy and hard-rocking family band—three brothers, Alvin, Derrick and Keith Lee, and their three nephews—that has been described as a cross between Robert Randolph and the Holmes Brothers.
