We are lucky. One of the greatest traditional jazz bands in the world resides in our own backyard.

Dave Greer's Classic Jazz Stompers have all the ingredients; a bottomless repertoire of jazz classics and standards that go back to the origins of jazz and extend through the swing era, superb improvisers perfectly equipped for making the music come alive, and the panache and good humor to put it across in high style.

For this one-time-only performance, they join forces with cornet virtuoso Andy Schumm in an evening of music associated with one the brightest lights in early jazz history, the lyrical composer and cornetist Bix Beiderbecke.
