Hone your old-time music skills on Wednesday nights at the Dublin Pub at Fifth and Wayne in downtown Dayton. Members of Rhythm in Shoes are hosting this free jam from 8 - 11 PM. All skill levels are welcome.
At the Ashokan Fiddle and Dance Camp in the Catskill Mountains west of Kingston, New York, you can explore the blues, swing, Quebecois music and dance, Cajun music and dance, old-timey music, square dance calling, Scandinavian music and dance and much more.
Augusta Heritage Center offers several focused weeks of classes each summer for musicians, dancers and craftspeople.
Pinewoods is a traditional dance and music camp whose user groups provide weekend and week long sessions, for dancers and musicians with any level of experience. Most sessions are for adults; some are for families. Pinewoods is located between two ponds near Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The Miami Valley Dance Council is made up of Western Square, folk, round, contra and other dance groups, many of which offer classes.
The Wheatland Music Organization holds a Traditional Arts Camp each Memorial Day weekend, where people of all ages can learn to play an instrument, dance and make traditional crafts.
Each summer, middle school and school students can explore Jazz at the Miami Valley Jazz Summer Camp.
