 Cityfolk
is now well into our 25th season, and we can’t think
of a better time to invite you to become a member! We know
you value artistic excellence and cultural diversity, so we
strive to offer you a variety of the highest quality performers
available. This season’s line-up features artists like
bluegrass icon Ralph
Stanley, jazz legend Ahmad
Jamal, and one of America’s best roots music bands,
Los Lobos. In
addition to making performances like these possible, your
support enables us to teach the value of diversity through
educational projects like Culture Builds Community, a program
that will produce in-depth artist residencies in east Dayton.
 For
our 2006-2007 membership campaign we have created a number
of new benefits, ranging from Cityfolk merchandise to pre-show
artist receptions, so now there are even more reasons to become
a member of Cityfolk. Additionally, if you become a “new”
member--anyone who has not contributed since September
30, 2004--your contribution will be matched dollar
for dollar by a generous $10,000 challenge from
anonymous donors. If you have given in the past two years,
please take this opportunity to renew and tell your friends
how they can become a Cityfolk member.
