Longtime Cityfolk favorites Rhythm In Shoes, Dayton’s acclaimed and versatile dance and music ensemble, joins forces with Dallas Chief Eagle, a member of the Rosebud Lakota Sioux tribe and a world champion hoop dancer, for an unforgettable and unique evening of cross-cultural artistic collaboration. Dallas Chief Eagle uses as many as 27 hoops in his ancient dances, which explain the history, traditions and worldview of the Plains Indians through elaborate and intricate choreography. With its own distinctive choreographic fusion of modern, tap and traditional American dance, Rhythm In Shoes is the perfect partner for this must-see dance and music extravaganza.
